What we collect, and why

We only collect what you choose to send us when you make an enquiry. We use it to answer that enquiry and to carry out any work you go on to ask us for. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for marketing unless you ask us to.

• Your postcode
• Whatever you tell us about the job

Our lawful basis

For answering an enquiry, our lawful basis under the UK GDPR is legitimate interests: you have asked us to get in touch, and replying is what you would reasonably expect. If we go on to do work for you, we process your details to perform that contract.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within six months. Records relating to work we have carried out are kept for as long as we need them for accounting and warranty purposes, and no longer.

Who else sees it

Our website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. When you submit the enquiry form it passes through Cloudflare before reaching our inbox, and Cloudflare records standard server logs. We do not share your details with anyone else unless the law requires it.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To do any of those, e-mail [email protected], or phone 0117 405 4230. If you are not happy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
